Vintage cars head to Puyallup for the Goodguys show this month
Car enthusiasts in the Puyallup area will have the opportunity to marvel at custom muscle cars and hot rods this month.
The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association is hosting its 34th Griot’s Garage Pacific Northwest Nationals show Friday, July 22 through Sunday, July 24 at the Washington State Fair Events Center.
Hours of operation on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. respectively. The Washington State Fair Events Center is located at 110 Ninth Ave. SW.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at good-guys.com. Tickets for ages 13 and up are $25. Kids ages 7-12 get in for $10. Children 6 and under enter for free. Parking is free.
Over 2,500 hot rods, muscle cars, classic cars and other vehicles will be at the event. There will be a drag racing and cruising event, as well as a burnout competition. Visitors can expect a kids’ zone, live entertainment, and food vendors.
“Goodguys Rod & Custom Association is the largest hot-rodding association in the world,” a press release said. “Their events feature thousands of hot rods and customs, rigged trucks, muscle cars and classics spread out in venues such as fairgrounds, super speedways and large outdoor stadiums.”
