Staging for Drag and Drift Nights

The stage is set for another edition of the Ebrahim K Kanoo Drag and Drift Nights today at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).
The event offers participants the opportunity to take their own car or motorbike and push them to their limits, either on the world-class drag strip or around the circuit’s vehicle dynamics zone, or both.
BIC is a member of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) worldwide network and its quarter-mile strip is considered one of the best drag races.
For drifting, BIC’s Vehicle Dynamics Area will be used. This is a specially configured location in the BIC car park which has been surrounded by security barriers. It is the largest open tarmac area in Bahrain and a great place for dinghies to show off their abilities.
Drag and drift can be enjoyed for a price of BD11. Participating only in the drag race or only in the drift costs 8 BD. Registration can be done on site from 5 p.m. and the action will take place from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
To experience drag or drift as a passenger, one can ride in a participant’s car for an additional BD4.500. Spectators can buy tickets for BD2 each.
In addition to Drag and Drift, BIC’s adrenaline-pumping passenger rides, the Dragster Experience, also known as “The World’s Fastest Ride”!
Fans will get a taste of speed as they go from zero to 100 km/h in just one second while seated in a Top Dragster. The experience is available at BD44 for the first passenger while the second passenger can benefit from a 50% discount.
Participants must present the green shield on the BeAware app to enter. Children under the age of 12 will be permitted entry if accompanied by a qualified adult. In addition, the highest safety standards will be respected at all times, both for drivers and spectators.
