MANCHESTER – Jerri-Ann Tims, 65, of Manchester, was suddenly called home to be with God and his angels on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Jerri-Ann was born in Augusta on June 9 . 1956, daughter of Gerald L. Stevens and Marion C. Desrosier; as one of four children. Jerri was a graduate of Cony High School. Shortly after graduating, she married Douglas W. Hance in 1977. Together they had a daughter, Kelly J. Hance. Jerri worked at Health Tex for many years, after they closed she then decided to be a stay-at-home mom. After Kelly became a teenager, Jerri went to work for Augusta’s school nutrition program. While working there, she met and made many close friends and enriched the lives and âwombsâ of many children. After having divorced; while working there, she met the second love of her life, William R. Tims Sr. They were married on November 23, 2002, surrounded by family and friends. Jerri loved many, many things like gardening, lawn bargains and sales, car shows and drag racing, horses and animals, and attending sporting events for his grandchildren. She liked to be outside in the middle of nature. She adored her many animals; whether in the house or the barn. She liked to be social and around people. Jerri was outgoing, funny, loving, and knew a lot about things. Jerri-Ann was an absolute pleasure to be around and had such a happy soul. She helped anyone and everyone she could, never turning down a request for help or to make food for an event or a benefit. Jerri, along with her husband, Bill, has coordinated, worked and cooked for many benefits for his friends, family and community. Together they were also very active in the Agricultural Fair Association and the Manchester Lions Club. Jerri embraced her new family and new community as if she had been there for years. Family and friends brought great joy to Jerri-Ann. Jerri-Ann was predeceased by her father, Gerald L. Stevens of Augusta; her brother, Jeffrey L. Stevens of Clarksville, Tennessee; her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Doris Patterson of Augusta; his uncle, Clarence Patterson Jr. and his wife Jane Patterson of Chelsea; stepmother, Theresa Tims of Manchester; brother-in-law Robert Tims of Florida, brother-in-law Lawrence Tims and his wife Mercedes Tims of Readfield, and brother-in-law Lee McGuire of Manchester. Jerri-Ann is survived by her husband of 19 years; William R. Tims Sr. of Manchester, his mother; Marion C. Desrosier of Randolph, his sister; Gayle L. Shaw of Randolph, his niece; Kami L. Spitzer and his family from Chelsea, and Jerri’s daughter; Kelly J. Glidden and her fiancÃ© Seth Gagnon as well as her grandson, Colby L. Glidden of Pittston. She is also survived by girls; Jessica Douin and her husband Scott Douin of Readfield and their children, Benjamin, Wyatt and Parker. Amanda Bolduc and her husband Jesse Bolduc of Auburn and their children, Lauren, Jordan and Ethan. Beautiful girls ; Tammy Johnson of Augusta, and Trish Hall and her daughter Mikayla of Sidney and a son, William R. Tims Jr. and his wife Leslie Tims of Readfield and their children; Haley Tims and her fiance Jake of Readfield and their children; Avery and Wade, Courtney Tims and boyfriend Reed from Belgrade, Hunter Tims from Readfield, and Cody Livingston and fiance Mikayla from Livermore. Jerri is also survived by his sister-in-law, Linda McGuire of Manchester, his sister-in-law, Jeannie Barbeau and her husband Norman Barbeau of Augusta, his brother-in-law, Jim Tims and his wife Sheila Tims of Manchester, his brother- in-laws, David Tims and his wife Cheryl Tims of South Carolina and countless nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as an extensive list of close friends. As special as family and friends were to Jerri-Ann, her furry children were her pride and joy; unfortunately she leaves behind Sadie her dog and Misty her cat.Jerri-Ann wished there was no funeral, but a celebration of life will be held in her honor and memory on October 10, 2021 at noon , at the Manchester Lions-club.
