India’s first modified Maruti Suzuki Alto to get an electric sunroof: that’s it

Maruti Suzuki is India’s largest automobile manufacturer and offers a variety of products in its range. Maruti Suzuki is popular among buyers for its extensive dealer and service network, as well as its affordability and maintenance costs. Maruti Alto is currently the most affordable vehicle in India from Maruti Suzuki. We currently have the Alto 800 which was introduced in 2012. The version before 2012 is very popular among those who like the modification and we have seen several videos and images of the same on the internet. Here we have a video where a Maruti Alto has been modified and it is probably the first in India to have an electric sunroof.
The video was uploaded by ENGINEER SINGH to their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger introduces the owner of the modified Alto and he then talks about all the modifications that have been made to the car. The owner starts by talking about the changes up front. On the hood he installed a hood lip with black masking in front. The headlights on this Alto have been slightly tinted or blackened and the grille also gets a black finish.

The bumper is all black and it also houses aftermarket fog lights with ring-shaped LED DRLs. As we go down, in the lower part of the bumper the owner has installed a divider. As we move down to the side profile you will notice a drilled hole on the side fender. The assembly is effectively functional and is connected to the air filter. This was done for better air intake. The owner also stuck his blood type on the side wing.
Apart from that, the owner installed side skirts and blind spot mirrors. The original MVNOs were also replaced with a spare unit. The main attraction here, however, is the aftermarket 13-inch alloy rim which looks great on the car. Just like on the headlights, the owner gave the taillights a smoky effect and also installed several stickers.
An aftermarket exhaust has been fitted to this Alto which produces a sporty note. Inside, the original steering wheel of this sedan has been replaced by a racing car steering from Sparco. The owner also installed an aftermarket tachometer as the Alto was not supplied on any variant. The shifter receives an aftermarket button and a touchscreen infotainment screen has also been installed. the video also shows the speaker, subwoofer and amplifier setup that the owner has installed in this car. The electric sunroof which is the main attraction of this Alto is also seen in the video
Overall the work done on this car looks good but it’s not the best. We’ve seen several modified Altos in the past that look better than this. The Maruti Suzuki Alto is powered by a naturally aspirated 796cc 3-cylinder petrol engine. The engine generated 46.3 hp and 62 Nm of torque. It was available as standard with a 5-speed manual transmission.
