Based on current COVID-19 indicators and trends in Clark County, Nevada, attendees at SEMA 2021 can expect face masks to be required indoors during the event taking place from November 2-5, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The organizers of the SEMA Show will respect the safety measures required by national and local health authorities. Forecasts indicate that masks will continue to be required indoors when the SEMA Show is held in Las Vegas in early November. Currently, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test is not required for trade shows, and there is no indication that these measures would be in place as of November.

Las Vegas’ COVID-19 health and safety requirements, currently set by the state of Nevada, are driven by key metrics including average number of tests per day, case rates, and test positivity rates . Numbers and scores must reach and maintain specific levels for 14 days for requirements to change. As key metrics continue to improve in Las Vegas, current health and safety requirements are not expected to change until the SEMA Show takes place in early November. Therefore, SEMA spectators should plan to wear masks indoors; masks would not be required in SEMA Show features located in over one million square feet of outdoor space.

Inside the LVCC, operators have installed hospital grade air filtration systems and achieved GBAC Star Certified certification for cleaning and disinfection of event facilities. The expansion into the new West Hall provides more performance space, so there will be wider aisles and smaller crowds throughout the convention center. Hand disinfection stations will also be placed throughout the event and high traffic areas will be cleaned daily.

The organizers of the SEMA Show continue to monitor the COVID-19 landscape and will keep the industry informed of any unexpected changes. Details will be posted on the official SEMA Show website at www.semashow.com and on the official SEMA Show social media accounts.
