2 DC cops charged with drag racing charged with reckless driving

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) – Two DC police officers allegedly involved in a drag racing incident that resulted in an accident now face multiple charges, including reckless driving.

WARNING: DC FOUL LANGUAGE Police posted body camera video on Monday of an alleged drag racing incident that left a total of two patrol vehicles.
Humias Khan and Jerrita Millington face charges of reckless driving, aggravated reckless driving with more than $ 1,000 in property damage and aggravated reckless driving causing bodily harm or disability.

One of the authorities’ officials said he was involved in the drag race incident which resulted in a total of two DC patrol vehicles being pulled, officials said. MPD has not disclosed the identity of this officer, but acting chief Robert Contee has confirmed that a probation officer has been fired due to the incident.

The crash happened last month near Anacostia Avenue and Polk Street in the northeast, where sources tell FOX 5 the patrol cars were traveling at least 60 mph, as the speed limit is 25 mph.
