1,800-horsepower Nissan GT-R towers over Drag Strip beating Vipers and Lamborghinis
Cicio Performance is responsible for tuning this GT-R which bears the nickname âGodzillaâ.
Although it has been around for several years now, the Nissan GT-R is still an incredibly popular car. âGodzilla,â as he affectionately nicknamed it, has certainly earned quite the following among not only JDM fans, but car fans in general. And there were also some very wild modified examples. This one, from Cicio Performance, is an 1,800 horsepower monster that no matter what its competition, be it Lamborghinis or Vipers, can take on them and let them eat its dust.
Cicio Performance brought 19 GT-Rs to the TX2K21
Cicio’s team took their fleet of 19 GT-Rs to the TX2K21 event in Texas, to put them to the test and This racing channel on YouTube had the chance to see up close, thanks to Nathan Cicio. All of them produce from 1000 hp and the craziest one producing 2400 hp.
This 1800 horsepower GT-R is definitely one of the craziest and best of all, they’re all street cars. In the unlimited class, the 1,800 horsepower GT-R destroyed just about everything in that class at the event, from the Dodge Vipers to the Lamborghini.
Test Mule by Cicio is a fantastic artist
But clearly, this isn’t the only GT-R on the team that deserves to be highlighted. One of them is their test mule itself. It’s Cicio’s personal shop car, and what he calls “pretty much his Eleanor.” All of their products are tested on this car to make sure they will work before they go to the customer, and the entire car has been a labor of love. He did amazingly well in the TX2K21 event, qualifying fourth for his event and considering it to be a test mule, it’s very impressive.
Every GT-R is still a complete street car
Inside there is always a full tram with all cars fully functional as a daily driver. It was important for these GT-Rs, to make sure they could get to events like Texas, rather than being pushed into the back of a trailer. If the Nissan GT-R hasn’t put fear into its competition before, then they might think again after checking out these examples from Cicio Performance.
